When a storm or emergency strikes, deployed inspectors perform rapid damage assessments, post-event safety inspections, and rebuild verification for affected communities. Colab is recruiting a senior commercial building inspector to perform field inspections of non-residential construction on complex, large-scale projects, with an emphasis on healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and critical infrastructure. The role calls for advanced code expertise, independent judgment, and full CBI (Commercial Building Inspector) certification. The position requires full-time residence in the USVI; relocation may be considered for highly qualified candidates willing to commit to a multi-year assignment, and local (St. Croix / USVI) candidates are preferred.
